1st Corinthians 6:9-10

People who profess to be good, but do not keep God’s commandments will be denied entry into God’s Kingdom. The Apostle Paul meant this as a warning to both Christians and non-christians.

1 John 3:6

“He who sins is of the devil [Satan], for the devil [Satan] has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil [Satan]. Whoever is born of God does not commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
1 John 3:8-9

The following scripture can be used to self-examine oneself in order to determine if you are a real Christian or an imposter.

People who do good deeds in order to be seen by men have already received their reward.

Jesus said: “Be careful that you don’t do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. Therefore when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does, so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
Apostle Matthew 6:1-4

Many will tell me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord,' didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works? Then I will tell them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity [evil deeds].”
Apostle Matthew 7:21-23

The Apostle Paul wrote these words to Timothy as servant of Christ: “Command those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to share; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of eternal life.”
