I am a good person. Will being a good person earn me a place in Heaven?
Have you thought of yourself as a good person?
Do you think that being a good person will gain you entrance into Heaven? If you thought that being a good person will get you into heaven, then you are wrong. God must forgive your sins and only through Jesus can you get forgiveness of your sins.
Being a good person is NOT enough to get you into heaven. You must also make Jesus the Ruler and Boss of your life.
God will forgive your sins when you seriously make your best effort to not sin anymore because you have made Jesus the Boss (Lord) of your life. But, if you do sin after you have dedicated your life to Christ, your sins are forgiven. Tell God that you have sinned. Confess your sins to God and He will continue to forgive you sins.
Said once again; In order to get into Heaven, you must make Jesus Christ your Savior and Boss for life. And when Jesus is the Boss of your life, you must act like Jesus is Boss. So forsake sin and follow Jesus.
